Love In A Foreign Land, Maria Vigar’s compelling new work was inspired by a true story which took place between 1959 and 2009. The play ran at The Playground Theatre, West London, to sold-out audiences and rave reviews.
Love In A Foreign Land was directed by award-winning Greek director, Anastasia Revi (Theatre Lab) and the hauntingly beautiful, original soundtrack was composed and arranged by Louis de Bernières, a talented musician as well as international bestselling author (Captain Corelli's Mandolin).
Maria’s other notable work includes AMERICANA!, inspired by true events and set during the Greek Civil War, and The Machinist, a one woman tragi-comedy featuring an animated chicken!
